Hello Phi Theta Kappans!

As you probably know by now, Phi Theta Kappa is having a fundraiser this Wednesday April 8th at Shakey’s. Here are the rules for the night.

• The Club will receive a 25% donation of the total sales.

• The receipt of your sale should be places in the box Shakey’s will provide. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THERE WILL BE OTHER GROUPS HAVING FUNDRAISERS THAT NIGHT. SO MAKE SURE YOU PUT YOUR RECEIPT IN THE PTK BOX.

• Beverage receipts and discounted menu items will NOT count.

• Coupons will NOT be accepted during the fundraiser hours.

• Take out orders ARE allowed and encouraged.
• The club will be held responsible for any damages caused by our group members.

The Cerritos College Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, Beta Alpha Beta, is trying out a new approach at communicating with its members. We have redesigned the website from a static to a dynamic more interactive website. Our goals are simple.
First, we are providing a way for members to contact our officers with any concerns or questions about Phi Theta Kappa. Each officer will have their own email so you can direct specific questions to them if needed.

Second,  we have made available for you a calendar that will have all upcoming events. We are making it possible for you to synchronize your personal calendar with us using for example Google Calendar, Yahoo Calendar, and Window Live Calendar.

Third, we would like everyone to know that we are not just a club that is ONLY in the books. It is important to mix some fun with our studies. So we will post pictures of our fun adventures throughout the year on flickr.

Fourth, another benefit of visiting our website will be access to the audio and video podcasts that will be both informative and instructional in nature. For example, how to create footnotes in Microsoft Word or where to get free software for school.

Finally, you’ll be able to subscribe to an RSS feed that will keep you up to date with everything .
