Hello fellow Kappas!

I hope you guys are ready for the upcoming holidays, as well as the cold weather! It’s easy to enjoy the holidays when you have a full stomach, but for the less fortunate, it’s not as easy. Therefore, with our efforts to spread the warmth and joyfulness of the holidays we are supporting the Food Drive sponsored by the Associated Students of Cerritos College. We would be delighted if you could donate at least 5 cans. I know everybody is in a tough spot these days with this horrid economy, but you can always spare a bit for those less fortunate than us. Please bring your items to our PTK meeting Thursday, November 12th 11am-12pm room SS-139.

If for some apparent reason you cannot drop off your items during our meeting, you can stop by the ASCC office (next door to the bookstore) and drop your items there. Just let one of the ASCC staff know that you are dropping your items on behalf of Phi Theta Kappa. You have until November 19th to drop off your items. We look forward to seeing you!

P.S. Items must be non-perishable items, here are some examples:

Top Ramen Noodles, Tuna Fish, Mac & Cheese, Pancake Mix, Canned Fruit, Canned Soup, Oatmeal, Pasta, Spaghetti Sauce, Cofee or Tea, Boxed Cereal, Baking Mix, Dry Soup, Crackers, Rice, Beans, and Canned Meals.
